The PropLIBRARY Score! Program

Most of the things you do on PropLIBARY earns you points. Everything you read, every course you take, and more. These points are used to:

  • Automatically generate student transcripts
  • Show how much training a student has acquired
  • Provide a foundation for certifying student accomplishment
  • Provide an incentive and recognition system

Your total score aggregates it all into a single number. Your transcript shows what you did to earn your points. Your percentile rank shows where you sit in relationship to everyone else's score. Every PropLIBRARY Subscriber has a Score! and a transcript.

Each course item has a certain number of points assigned to it. The number can be fixed or variable, and is usually based on a ratio of one point for every five minutes of instruction. Quizzes are typically given one point per question. When exercises are completed and uploaded to your transcript, your transcript will not only show your training, but what you are capable of doing.

By default your transcript is private. But we recommend making it public. That way people, like bosses, coworkers, employers, and others can see your Score! and look you up.

The Score! Program can also be used to track real world events, like instructor-led training or participation in a real proposal. It can be used to quantify and track participation in proposal mentor programs.

For Corporate Subscribers, the Score! Program becomes a means of tracking student participation and for creating an internal certification program. We like internal certification programs better than industry certifications for proposals because you can make them reflect your company's specific needs. You can certify someone as ready to fulfill a role based on whether they have taken certain training and how many proposals they have worked on.
